Asterisk on a mac mini

has anyone had problems with Asterisk on a mac mini

Is that a program? I'm assuming you're not referring to the actual asterisk key on the keyboard...

With DD-WRT you can put Asterisk in a router (if it's not too wimpy, it should be able to handle a couple of calls).

Asterisk, is a linux distro that does PBX functions for phones

Here's the guide for OpenWRT, which I think should be similar (pick your firmware):

DD-WRT v24 rc7 included Asterisk. I don't know if it's in the final version. Also, maybe only in MEGA, so you might need 8MB flash (or USB).
