Any chance that it could be used under Windows without/without VMWare Fusion? I have some 3D applications that run only under Windows.

Too bad Adobe isn't a software company, they could just write a version of Photoshop for iOS.....hey wait a minute....

Hey Guys and Girls

I bought myself the new iPad Pro today, along with the apple pencil and the Astropad app, only to get home set it all up and find a very unpleasing, Pixelated screen on my iPad Pro. Im not sure if I'm doing something wrong (I hope I'm doing something wrong) but when i connect my macbook pro to my iPad Pro photoshop and my images look horribly pixelated and unclear on the iPad pro, does anybody know what the problem is? Surely this cannot be the best result? I have tried to connect via Home wifi, manual wifi and USB cable but the results are all the same!

PLEASE HELP!!!

In Astropads preferences have you enabled "allow retina resolutions when available?" And tried bumping up the maximum bandwidth?
Hopefully that fixes it. :)

Hi Mixel,

Thank you for the reply. I did all that you said and it helped ever so slightly however the interface and my images are still a bit fuzzy and no where near as clear as my MacBook Pro screen which is a bit irritating as I might as well retouch on my mac instead of my new iPad Pro (so whats the point?) I emailed Astropad and they replied saying that they are still working on getting better images quality so for now slight fuzziness is the best iPad Pro and Astropad have to offer.
They assure me that it will get better with updates through this year.

So, having found this thread late, today I released my reservation(!) on an Apple Pencil AND IPP-- having been convinced by earlier discussions that the lag in a VPN or App like Astropad would pale to my faltering 6yo Cintiq12xw.

Evidently not so?! Whaa?
So I'll try it after my iMac27R. Maybe the kinks will be worked out (fkn corded? Really?) by mid-year.
I thought Adobe itself had addressed this *directly for thin-client when the iPad first appeared?!

Apple: make this capability a native part of iOS! Or is this another holdover from the Jobs era??!
