Did anyone knows about the avaibility of the Asus XG Station? I can't find it.

It's an external graphic card enclosure with an express card plug-in.

    Thanks

yeah Im currently looking for an alternative to ViDock by villagetronic, and was wondering the same thing, whatever happened to Asus XG and if its mac compatible.

On some other forum I read that someone has ordered it from Australia since they are officially released there, so IM thinking they are used as ginnie pigs / test market there.

I've seen pictures and heard that it would be available starting january 1st but so far it smells like vapourware.

That said, the expressbox products offer similar functionality but not restricted to video cards, although fairly expensive.

I don't think the expressbox1 will be able to fit the bigger cards
