dont think so about sony. I think they're consoles are good prices. like the PS3 which has blu ray and costs less then most blu-ray players not including the game capabilities

It's true that both AT&T and Verizon charge more than they should especially smartphone related fees. I don't have problem calling their practices price gauging.
Yes, they need to make profits, but they currently make way more than they would under perfect or near perfect competition. Thanks to millionaire lobbyists in Washington, phone companies have gotten away with many things for way too long now. We're not in 1999 anymore.
Exclusivities, charging incoming calls, unnessarilily expensive sms/mms rates, etc. all these things should be reviewed--sooner the better.
Also, I always support people's freedom of expression... well, with some exceptions; imo, 'AT$T' does not need to be an exception.

It was one of the forum cops you seen from time to time on here.
People complain about the high cost of service yet they pay for it which is an indication that they really don't mind paying for it. All these companies (AT&T, Microsoft, Apple, etc...) are not non-profit and the market often sets the cost of services. If the market is willing to pay then we get what we get, why lower pricing if people are paying for it regardless.
Nope. It's not they don't mind paying the high fees, rather, they have no other choice.

You only have a very elementary understanding of free market, but you lack basic understanding of something called 'corporate greed' and how it affects the consumer.

I couldn't possibly agree more. We live in a world where stupidity is a valued characteristic and it has no greater example than Internet communications. The illiterate and irresponsible breed dozens of children with each other while the intelligent and succesful fear bringing children into the world or place their careers before procreating. It's the perfect formula for our ultimate demise.
