NAB MacPro announcement? hoped to see sooner, but before WWDC would be nice...

anyone have experience with the PC variant of this card and using video/graphics/3D applications? specs look great, wondering what the real-world experience has been like so far

Smooth & stable, just not fast yet.

Feels like it is being throttled, much like the early 580 drivers.

    That can be....

good news, depending in how well the cards are supported. Anyways, the more options, the merrier (in posible graphic cards upgrades for Pro users)....:D

Will those drivers have the possibility of unlocking/making stable 6 series GTXs and/or Titan cards?

The 6 series GTX cards are already pretty darn good in 10.8.2.

K500 still working in final 10.8.3 12D78, still not done

    Not fast but working.

Let's hope that when Nvidia updates the "Web Driver" for 10.8.3 it includes better support.

    (Did anyone say "Titan"?)

But the Titan cards are GK-110 based. The K5000 is GK104 ( single precision float oriented. )

Listed as in-stock on Newegg (checked today - wasn't there earlier this week.)

Will pick one up in the next billing cycle to replace a Q4000 in a 5,1 video suite. Was hoping to slide it into a 6,1 but apparently that's still dreaming.

Is the K5000 for Mac still feeling throttled, or is the performance getting better?
