Has there been any release as to the pricing? Or are we assuming $4.99/month for Office 365 for individual users?

This would have been super awesome news about three years ago. Unfortunately it's rather pedestrian news at this stage. Plenty of other decent solutions that many of us have moved onto.

Nonetheless...Office for iPad does have a nice ring to it, eh?

I'd be more willing to buy it and use it if it had dropbox support. I want to be able to use the cloud service of MY choice. It annoys the heck of me that iWork for iOS is locked to iCloud, and it'll annoy me just as much of Office is locked to MS OneDrive.

After buying Numbers, Pages and Keynote years ago... Learning to use them. I no longer feel the need for Microsoft Office when using my iPad.

What is good is that there is soon to be choice. I like Pages and Numbers but there are times when it does not play nice with Office and no matter if the Apple people in the world want to believe it or not, MS Office still rules the business world and will for some time to come.

I do not like that it will be a subscription based software but that is also what is heading our way.

    It's more like $99/year.
