My 8gig refurb arrived today in pristine condition.

I'm like a kid in a candy store tonight.

It only took me a year to convince my wife to let me get one Now she wants one too!!

i think they'll run the current phone for quite some time.

16GB (refurb) now only $150

I was thinking about waiting until this summer to get the next one, but now that the 16gb is only $150, I went ahead and got it.
On the flip side, it appears that ATT is really trying to get rid of back stock. (for the upcoming release of the new iphone??)

Well, people wanted the "Under $100 iPhone"....

It'll be as elusive as the "Under $500 Mac" (the Mini, refurbished or close-out).

I think Apple leaves space below its product line to move refurbished and out-of -date equipment at better prices.

Fine with me (I buy refurbished Apple stuff all the time). Apple equipment lasts a lot longer and doesn't get outdated as quickly anyways...

(My friend's still using a blue G3 tower he got 5 years ago for $200... )
