AT&T and Verizon iPad LTE

Is anyone having any issues with LTE on their iPad with either Verizon or AT&T? Any problems with weak LTE areas with the 3G and LTE hand off?
 
I am near buffalo NY. The city has lte but I am about 4 miles from the closest tower.
 
Cell towers usually have maximum ranges of 3 miles. Try rebooting the iPad just in case.
