I received my new Apple Watch yesterday and AT&T hasn’t been able to activate it. Also, it is not detecting my wrist, it keeps locking itself over and over again whenever I’m not using it. Could it be just a defective Apple Watch? Anybody else having this problem?

Could be a defective watch but unlikely. Lot's of others fighting the activation issue: AT&T, Verizon, T-Moble, Sprint and EE in the UK.

Thanks! I do think my watch is defective though. When you check your heart rate does the Apple Watch series 3 lights up green underneath your wrist? I know my AW series 1 did. My AW3 isn’t taking my heart rate and it doesn’t light up green, also it stays locked all the time so it’s not detecting my wrist :/
