Carrier AT&T BOGO offer for adding a line

if you add a line an order either an X or 8/Plus, you get credits that equate to a free 8, stretched out over 24 or 30 months, depending on how you pay for the one you’re buying (it must be through their Next plan, cannot purchase outright).

I hadn’t seen this advertised anywhere, but asked them through chat what deals they had for adding a line and learned of this deal. So I placed an order to take advantage of it. Was adding a line anyway, so I figured I should get something out of it if possible!

The “get one” new line has to be an 8. The buy one line can be an X.

Definitely legit, I did it last night! I just contacted Apple, they also said it was only an AT&T promo

Spoke to att on chat and did it just now, i did the att next via apple store for pre order and got my iphone x, and the chat rep said that was ok cause it was an att next for the x. I asked for any docs to show the deal she said they have none but to save the chat, ( i have been burned b4 so I saved it and will confirm with the store when i go to pick up today). SO not sure u must get via apple or not but you must get on att next plan i did the next 24 so its paid sooner

Yep, it only works when buying on their Next plan. And you’re right isn’t hag you can set choose either the 24 or 30 month payment options. I’m pretty share whatever payment plan you choose for the one you buy determines what credits you’ll receive for the free 8. So if you fiancé the purchase for 30 months, then your credit for the 8 will be 1/30th of $699.

Thanks SO MUCH for this post...I called AT&T as well, and learned that since I'd used the Next plan to buy the X, even though I'd bought from APple, that I could get the free 8 with the new line add! SO it's been done!

Thanks again! Now I don't have to return and rebuy my X!
