I ordered:Sep 22 and have a 10/30-11/10 estimated delivery date. Is it normal for them to bill the cc right away. I thought it wouldn't bill until it ship.

Could someone please clue me in this 877 magic? When you guys call the number, are you using the automated status check or talking with customer service rep? And what are you saying that is causing your dates to change?
If you call the 877 number and get an automated message that says " your order is processing for item #***** "instead of saying " your ordered items are in back order " then 24 hours later more or less you get a shipping notice from At&t.

I have been calling 877.782.8870 several times over last few days. Listened to automated status that phone is back ordered. Even tried once talking to rep. No change in status.

I must be the exception to the rule of the 877 number, I've been calling sicne last Thursday and my keeps saying that my order has been received and is being processed, if I want to check the status it gives me the info for the website. I just posted my rant in another thread about the awfulness I've gone through, maybe I killed the magic with the 877 number.![]()
The whole situation is funny and not in a ha ha funny kind of way. I hear of people that placed orders days after I did that are getting their phones, and since I work in a retail environment I also get to see people walk in and ask for iPhones and walk out with their new phone. Granted it is not a Plus, but still frustrating.
I'm stuck with this Galaxy S5 till I get my Plus and I am so worried that I am going to start liking Android that I'm beside myself with worry and anxiety.
Wow. When did you order? I did my order on 9/12 at 3:01am EST and got my phone on September 25.
Ordered 9/16 online 6+ 64GB Gold. Got shipping notice from MyUPS last night that I was receiving a shipment today, about 7 hours later another email from MyUPS stating the shipment was delayed.
Called AT&T, and UPS got confirmation and my tracking information is now up to date I believe. They are sending it Next Day Air from Memphis. UPS tracking says:

Congrats to you but this is infuriating! I ordered my phones on the 12th and am still stuck in the 11/9-11/27 (SG 6+ 128 & 64GB). If this isn't evidence that AT&T's claim of FCFS is a load of BS I don't know what is.
Just wanted to share my story and give advice. I purchased my iphone plus 128 sg at 3:30pm on sept 12 through att, I got a preorder shipping date for 11/9 - 11/27. Yesterday I called att and the lady told me I would probably recieve it early November by the looks of things, so I canceled that order right away because I heard the apple stores in orlando were getting shipments everyday. Last night at 2:38am I refreshed the apple page and sure enough they had them available for pick up. I ordered right away and went in the store this morning. I didn't have to wait in line cause I purchased online, but there were 100 people waiting to purchase (iphone 6+ 128 in all colors) and they started running out towards the end of the line. So I suggest you do the same, i got my phone a month and half before I was supposed to! This is the fastest way to recieve your new iPhone
You won't like Android that much, trust me.
