bumpers...

ha! just got email from apple saying my bumpers have shipped from china... knew i would get those before my phones. eff apple and eff att... this is getting stupid. "you are guaranteed to get your phones by the 24th if you preordered them." now it is the 25th and they still have not shipped. at this rate, the very earliest i will see them is on monday. really pathetic....
 
Compensation?

Has anyone been able to talk AT&T into any sort of compensation for the fact that they have not held up to their end of the bargain?
 
AT&T still not delivering pre-orders

You are not alone in the waiting. I just spoke with AT&T (again) and they said that the warehouse is out of iphones, and that even though my order went through at 7 AM EST on the 15th, they cannot give me any idea of when it will ship out. More incompetence...

I received my pre-order confirmation e-mail from AT&T at 9:20am CT on 15 June.

I have not received my two ordered iPhones.

My order status just shows "in progress," no backorders or shipping info.

I spent 1.75 hours on phone with AT&T yesterday. They "processed" my order on 17 June, so I am back in the queue. When I questioned this and asked for corrective action, I was told, "It takes 12-24 for us to process your order once it is received [they had no answer for how 12-24 hours plus 9:20am on 15 June equals a 17 June order date]. We have no way to change your spot in the shipment queue, and we do not have any phones in stock to ship right now anyway."

Obviously, I wanted my phones on the 24th as promised. At the least, AT&T could have sent out an e-mail to inform me that my order shipment would be delayed.

We are going to be new AT&T custumers; I wonder if that pushed us to the end of the line???

I asked AT&T about compensation. I was given the option of canceling my order if I was not satisfied. Now that is customer service.;)

mine finally got shipped today. suppose to be here on the 28th.

i live in memphis (home of fedex). hopefully someone will realize this and i'll get it tomorrow :cool:
 
Local Store

So I finally became fed up with the wait, went into my local AT&T store this morning and picked one up. It took 45 minutes to get my order cancelled through the Premier site, but then there was no issue (I was #36 in line and they had 40 phones).
