(Pre Ordered at 3:10AM EST Launch Night via AT&T Site)

So I decided to check a couple places this morning to see if my order changed.

The first was in the Order Status in my account. Low and behold I have changed from 10/31 - 11/16 to this!

I check this link:

and this has updated as well:

A few things could have happened.. enough people are cancelling their pre orders or they are getting closer to actual dates. Maybe we get on launch day? Maybe not.. if I only have to wait a week or so I'm fine with that.

I decided to check the phone that I ordered 12 hours later around 3:00pm EST via AT&T site and that now show BACKORDERED with NO date. This showed 11/16 - 11/31 yesterday

Just looked at mine, and yeah, same thing. Changed from the November date to 10-13ish

Spiffy. I still have hopes the box will show up on Friday.:D

hmmmm, yes this seems to be correct. Mine also moved up about a month, now i just need it to move up one more month!

"Being more accurate" is a "change"!

Example:

If I'm driving somewhere and I know it will take me 20 minutes to get there but my GPS says 25 min, but as I get closer the GPS changes to reflect the same thing, did my arrival time change? No.

My point is, this process isn't changing, the estimates are which don't really mean anything as proven many times so far. Most were likely set to get their phones before the estimate range from the beginning.

My shipping date is empty now, and my item status shows backordered. As of late last night the shipping date said estimated Oct 13 - Oct 22.

By definition, a change means becoming different. Dates moving from old to new is a change regardless of the meaning behind it.

UGh mine has not changed. I ordered at about 2:55AM EST, 64GB gold 6+. Still showing 10/31 - 11/11.

I loathe AT&T. They always pull this... their order system hasn't been upgraded in years.

Again, you are missing my overall point....the estimates have nothing to do with reality, so in essence, nothing has actually changed.

There's an assumption that "oh, something changed so my ship dates are getting moved up" (eg. from people cancelling orders). No, AT&T threw out generic dates until they assign a phone to your order. As they work through the batches, the estimates will move but they still don't reflect the real timeframe of when phones will arrive (which is likely way better then expected/estimated).

So maybe I need to clarify, there's no "real" change. And I mean that in a positive way. Relax.

AT&T Customers *Shipping Date Change*

iPhone 6+ 64GB Space gray. I went from est. ship date 10/31-11/11 to 10/13-10/22 ordered 12:30 AM PST. I also show preparing shipment and receive two texts on Friday:

AT&T Free Msg: Congratulations! Your order has been processed. You will be notified when your order has shipped. <Replies are not monitored>

It appears dates are getting closer. I remember when I pre-ordered the 5 att had exaggerated est. ship dates. I actually got my 5 a week or two earlier from the estimate. So don't sweat it everyone, there is a chance you will see your phone next Friday. If not, what is another week?

Don't keep bugging CS, they can do nothing for you!!!

I ordered at 255am ET and today, on the Order Status page, my expected ship date went from 9/17-9/18 to Pending Confirmation. Hopefully this is progress.

This is more likely the case. Don't sweat the estimated ship dates. I've seen people who were lucky enough to order before 12AM PST but showing November est. ship dates. So that cannot be accurate!!!

My Silver 128 6+ has changed from 10/31-11/11 to 10/13-10/22.

Keep on canceling those 6+ orders people!!! ;)

your account number name and phone number is in that link.

Pre-ordered my 6+ 64GB Space Gray about 10 minutes before 12am PST on AT&T (Premier) and originally had an Oct 2-Oct 13 ship date. Checked today and now it's Oct 13-Oct 22. No luck for me :(

I will agree with you and correct you at the same time. Technically, it did not change. Literally, it did change.
