AT&T Data Problem Questions

To those of you who were having problems with very slow data speeds with AT&T, but by now have been resolved, were you ever told what AT&T did to resolve the problem? I'm only asking because I had an ticket that was closed because the problem was allegedly solved, but it wasn't. I want to be able to tell them what they did in other areas to solve the problem in order to perhaps help with my problems.

JUst call them up and tell them the ticket should not have been closed

Can someone please help me with solving the problems?
Just tell them to write a new ticket or to reopen the other one. I had a phone call from them just checking that all was well and I told them "not really." They said, "oh well the ticket was closed." And I said what I suggest above.

I keep getting texts from them telling me they are still investigating. I think in most of the US, the problem has been solved for iP4 but (1) I have a 3GS and (2) my area of Washington DC has a weak signal.

They told me the engineers were checking how the towers are "tilted" to target the signal and assessing if there's a way to improve things.
