iPhone X AT&T didn't charge me

When I checked out pre ordering on Thursday night, I got prompted to agree to the terms and conditions. They said it would bill me on my next bill for 148 something (tax of the phone and upgrade fee). However in my email it says it will charge my debit card when my phone ships.. they didn't ask me to enter a debit card upon checkout? I didn't add any debit cards and there's nothing on my account. I've checked an upgrade eligible phone on my account as well, and it does indeed ask for card information before checking out and won't let me do so without applying it.. so not sure what happened.

I called AT&T and they just keep saying they'll email me with a way to pay it, called again, they said it would be charged on my next bill. Called again, they said they would add it after it shipped. I'm not getting any solid information and don't want my phone being cancelled cause a card wasn't added It still says in progress on the site.

when i ordered the series 4 on friday it gave me an option to bill my account. so most likely when you ordered phone the option to bill account was checked.so you will get your bill with all the charges

Ok, so let's hope all goes well then! It did say that before I ordered but wasn't sure since my email says in the fine print it will charge my debit/credit card when it ships..

Either way I've been reading about people having payment issues in a matter of hours, and i'm sure I would've had an error or email by now telling me to update my method. My order changed to preparing to ship!

next time order from apple to avoid any issues with the phones

normally i order my iPhone from apple and watch or iPads from at&t for the monthly payments

Same thing happened to me. Not even an option to pay when I checked out.
