that is why they let you upgrade at the subsidized prices.....you can upgrade yearly for cheaper than the retail price, but higher than a new customer or someone who fulfilled their 2 year contract. Often if you are close to the 2 year date they will bump you up

Got it . That's what I thought. And Apple, I hope you are wrong :) No Offense.

It actually didn't take me long to write at all. I actually don't see any reasoning for you even commenting considering you didn't contribute to the discussion. Good day. :)

Whether it took you long to write or not isn't the point. I can guarantee it took you longer than 10 seconds, which is all it takes to do a search. And I did contribute... about the part where you excuse yourself from searching. Apologies if you simply don't like my contribution.

Good day to you as well! :D

Lol :D
I hope Im wrong too but looks like we're out of luck.
I got my 4S on release day and now shows Im eligable for an upgrade in May 2013.
Im the primary line on my family plan and we spend over $200 per month but still nothing.

Actually- from experience- that always changes when the iPhone is announced and pre-orders start...... :) We shall see if it happens this year.

Generally speaking, my experience with decades of Cingular, then at&t has been this:

You have a very good chance of having your upgrade change to full subsidy if your regular date is within 59 days of the ship date.

We have had this happen 3 times since 2007. If your outside 60 days forget it.
They will keep the 20 month date for you.

My wife has a 20 month upgrade date of Nov 10th. If there is an announcement on Sept 12th with shipping the next day or like 2 weeks, I expect to see her status change to Full Discount within a few days past 9-12-12. :apple:
