AT&T Error P1234

    Jun 30, 2007
    Got an error trying to upgrade an eligible Acct.
    Have to call during regular business hours.
    This is all after I was pre-approved to upgrade.


    Got my order in via Apple.

    I am getting that error through AT&T and now trying Apple...

    I got the same error, yet when the site first went up, I was able to get to the 4S selection screen. Anyone able to get one after getting this error?

    P1234: We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to support this request online. Please contact Premier Support at 1-866-499-8008 Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time for assistance with your request. Please reference Error P1234 if you speak to a representative about this error."

    I don't understand this. I've been online since 3am trying to get this done via Apple and AT&T, and I've gotten to the data plan selection screen once. Every other time I've been timed out, or have gotten that error message from AT&T. I'm getting really pissed off.

    Gave up on AT&T when I got the error msg.
    Guess they could not handle the traffic.
    Apple Store was no piece of cake but they let you login and try again and again until completion.

    I got that same error after getting a confirmation email from Apple. Hope my place in line holds. Seriously though, I think that's the only error available. The other one is probably P5678. Error codes by kidz - you're welcome.
