AT&T, full data plan, but no contract til June?

I've made a few posts about asking around about the Go Phone and looked around and I'm not thrilled about the Go Phones 150MB plan I was wondering since I'm currently using a old one as a iPod would there be any way to go onto A&TT with my iphone have full data and not sign a new contract till june?

I would hold off with my current phone but my battery life is currently on the fringe of dieing
 
here is a really wacked Idea

go or call AT&T and discuss options with them! God am I crazy or what! 😱
