Hello! I ordered a 6+ via the Apple Store App for in-store pickup 9/19. Since they wouldn't let me do Next (in NY) I paid the full price (said no contract extension). After purchasing though, in the confirm email, it says 2 year contract with the $40 upgrade fees and everything. I'm VERY confused because why would the contract be extended if I'm paying full price?
I then checked back in the app to get a screenshot of where it says "no contract extension" and by that point they had changed the wording to "upgrades every 24 months." ?!?!
However, on Apple.com, it says that if discounted upgrades weren't available then no contract extension is required. It's all very confusing and I'm nervous I'm going to show up to the store and they are going to tell me I can't have the phone unless I extend the contract which I'm obviously not doing.
Anyone else in this boat? Also, anyone happen to have a screenshot of the app where it said "no contract extension required"? Trying to gather evidence lol
