1900mah battery  !
The specs on this thing are very slick, while android isn't my cup of tea, this gets me excited on what kind of device to expect from Apple and Palm later on in the year.

looks like AT&T is FINALLY getting good smart phones other than the iPhone. To me this is nice because I have no intersted in an iPhone but AT&T had a very limited selection of non blackberry and iPhones.
It is great to seem them carry some more good android phones other than the Samgsung Captivate

Damn awesome specs. Shame it is running Android and will have bloatware all over it.

Battery will probably last about 20 minutes in this first wave of LTE devices on AT&T and Verizon.

Yes Apple and HP/Palm should make theiir next device with a more powerful battery and at least 1500mAh should be the standard for smartphones with big displays.

AT&T is also getting the Samsung Infuse 4G.
1.2GHz CPU and the new Super AMOLED Plus screen. (50% more pixels)
Neither this one or the Motorola are LTE compatible though. Just HSPA+.
So we should call it Faux G not 4G.

Dual core device, 1GB RAM, 16gb on board expandable to 48GB storage, HTML5 support, looks hot...will be released Q1 2011

That's nothing...

Just wait until Apple announces/releases the next iPhone 4G, we can now call it iPhone 4G since AT&T announced their 4G network and because of the leaked "iPhone 4G" parts.

Can't wait :)

Looks good but "powerfull" hardware is not always what matters the most in a phone.

Isn't that kind of like saying that money doesn't always matter the most in life?

True in both cases, yet the extra capability still comes in handy :)

Do you mean preinstalled vendor specific apps? Who cares, as long as it's not something like a lock into Bing for search. Just leave the extra icons off your homescreen. Not a real worry.

Same was said for June 2011 and Apple was the one playing catch up with the competition as they will have to do again.

The 3 main highlights of iPhone 4:

faster processor - Achieved by others
Video Calling - Achieved by others
Retina Display - unique

Improved notification system? - NO
Was it a game changer? -No

Apple is going to have to do a h3ll of a lot better than iPhone4 and better than the top guns announced at CES, the bar was raised once again.

Don't hold your breath

or what I would do is root the thing shortly afterwards and say bye bye to bloat ware. On my BB 8900 I have a hidden folder called junk. It is full of all the junk apps AT&T forced on me.

Sigh.... All of the AT&T announced Androids are Froyo. I know Gingerbread was only released last month. Froyo will be close to a year old when these ship.

Edit: It will be interesting to see when/if Gingerbread will be made available.

Haven't decided if I want the Moto ATRIX or HTC Inspire. I'll be getting one of them though. It's about time AT&T got some good Android phones.

The Atrix has my vote and AT&T will have my money once it's released.

It's dual core or nothing this time around. The benefits of better battery life this will bring about is the deal maker.

I agree AT&T has a practically non existent Android line with the Captivate being thier best device which I don't particularly like.

I'm thinking the same, but HTC Sense is supposed to be miles ahead of Moto Blur. I'll have to play with both and see.
