That's like fining me $.47 or something. I promise you no one at AT&T even slightly gives a **** about this fine.

This may be small to AT&T from the financial perspective, but it has real impact.

There will be no horseback riding at this winter's Hawaiian sales retreat. We know that you and your families loved this, but federal regulations are putting an end to it. This year we will only have jet-skis, scuba, golf, and the bottomless booze fountain.

This just in: The VP of sales has re-instituted the horseback riding! Instead, your office's waste bin will be emptied only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you need more office cleaning, have your assistant talk to the office maintenance team.

One time I did this kind of analysis for a colleague. He was worried about the financial impact when his $2800 work laptop was stolen. I did a financial equivalence analysis and concluded that to our employer, it was like 3¢ was lost.

I don't know about you, but 3¢ is nothing that I worry about. Nor would I worry about $10.18.

I’m sure I will see an increase in my bill next month.
They just did increase it! Something like $20/mo for me (4 lines), but gave me more hotspot data and more "premium" unlimited data, neither of which I will use.

  • FamilyTalk and Nation plans: Monthly charges will increase by $5 for plans with a monthly rate of $45 or less before taxes and fees, and by $10 for plans with a monthly rate of more than $45 before taxes and fees

  • Older unlimited plans: Single-line plans will increase by $10 per month, and plans with multiple lines will increase by a total of $20 per month

  • Unlimited phone plans: Some plans will receive increased priority and hotspot data limits

In addition to the price increases, customers will receive more high-speed and hotspot data. For example, AT&T Unlimited Choice, Choice II, Choice Enhanced, Unlimited &More, and Unlimited Value plans will include 75 GB of high-speed data and 30 GB of hotspot data. AT&T Unlimited Plus, Plus Enhanced, Unlimited &More Premium, and AT&T Unlimited (with TV) plans will receive 100 GB of high-speed data and 60 GB of hotspot data.
