What is everyone's data speeds when on AT&T's HSPA+? I'm about to exchange my new iPad for a Verizon one, but I want to make sure that my speeds are as horrible as I think. I'm lucky if I get 3MB down/1MB up. 😡

5.5 Down, .54 Up.
AT&T, Greater Cincinnati Area.
They say we have LTE here but I've not been able to make that connection in Northern KY or Cincy.

For some reason mine barely connects if I enable LTE.

Verizon 3G will be much slower in general than ATT 3G/ faux 4G right?

I live in an area of miami that does not have LTE for either verizon or att...

I do have HSPA+ on both iPhone 4s and new iPad.

I average 2.5 down and 1 up on iPhone 4s.

I average between 3-6 down and 1.5 up on new iPad (not sure why it is not exactly the same as iphone 4s)

The person working in the cubicle next to mine has a Verizon Droid Razr Maxx and he averages no better than 1.5 down and .75 up on Verizon 3g (even though get gets 40+ down when he gets to LTE area where he lives)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B179 Safari/7534.48.3)

2mb-5mb up. 1mb-3mb up. AT&T coverage map says I'm covered in HSPA+

Verizon - 3G / LTE
  • Bottom two are LTE on 1 bar
  • Technically not in a LTE or extended LTE area, with closet LTE cell Tower about 5 miles away.

many people in this thread are confusion MB and Mb.

people who say they are getting 6-9 MB down means you are getting 48Mbps-72Mbps. i highly doubt that.

please revise your posts so you are correcting using MB vs Mb
