The N90A was in the inventory system yesterday.
The N94 wasn't added until today.

Is it such a leap in logic to think that an N97 would be added tomorrow or next week?

While I agree with your point, I doubt that they would still name it 4s purely due to marketing reasons. A 4S, in my opinion, indicates an update rather than the redesign that we are discussing now. People might get confused.
