I'll be in the UK for one week. I have an iPhone 4 from AT&T here in the US.

What are my options as far as a pay as you go sim to be able to call/text back to the US?

I know to turn off roaming data etc.

You won't be able to use any other SIM. Either you pay through the nose with AT&T, or you use another phone.

To clarify, this is because the original poster's phone is probably locked to AT&T.

Any iPhone should work with a PAYG SIM in the UK if it's unlocked.

I believe you can buy international data and calling/texting packs for when you go to the UK. AT&T don't unlock phones so your out of luck using any sim in the UK.
