am i the only person who actually has to wait until APR 17 to get the e-mail?

i haven't seen it in SPAM.. just curious it's only a day away..

nope I called last monday and got a resolution date of april 17th in the afternoon and still have not recieved anything I called at&t twice and they say its still processing

just plug in your iphone in chances are its already been processed. i was suppose to get my email on the 17th, i got it on the 15th and i unlocked my phone on the 14th...its worth a shot. good luck

do you need a activated sime weather t-mobile or at&t to do so? or should I just restore and it come up unlocked?

I called in on April 8th around noon and was told that my expected resolution date was today (April 16th). However, they are still processing my case and the person I chatted told me to wait until tomorrow morning to see if I get an email. If I don't receive the email by tomorrow, she suggested that I call the customer service.

I've been trying to backup/restore and sync my iPhone with no luck so far.

I guess I just have to wait until tomorrow morning.

Well I was promised a resolution today (16th), and I tried plugging in this morning with my phone before getting that email. And now my phone is locked...I'm glad this isn't my primary phone.
 
I just chatted with a rep. She said that my time period had been extended another 5-7 days due to their high volume of requests. Keep in mind my case was submitted the 9th.

Thats bs I mean really I submitted on the 9th as well. I mean if some can get it instantly why would it really take another 5-7 days on top of the already 7 days? I HATE AT&T!

It is an another mind gimic game at&t is trying to play. I really don't understand why at&t would take so much time in unlocking iphones for people who are sitting overseas. The phones are already gone and wouldnever be back on the at&t network.

Don't loose heart...they are trained to keep the flame burning..all the resolutions tickets submitted on 9th have been postponed for the next few days. After few days...they would further extend it for few more days due to overwhelming rush:D
 
just to let everyone know I called last monday the 9th they said 5-7 days it is now 7 days later and nothing so I got on the chat posted above waited thirty mins talked to the guy and instantly my iphone is unlocked don't wait get on the chat asap and it will be instantly unlocked!

Do you have an at&t account ? Did you unlock iphone 3gs or 4?

AGAIN DO NOT SAY YOU ALREADY HAVE A CASE AND DON'T GIVE UP DIFFERENT REPS WILL GIVE DIFFERENT ANSWERS SO CONTINUE TO TRY UNTIL YOU GET THE RIGHT ONE!

You are a lucky dog! last time when I forget to mention the old case number, the stupic CSR just created a new case for me , which makes me wait one MORE week. I rejected the stupid idea immediately...

that's good to know...yesterday i try to talk on the chat but she says i have to wait until 20th...i will wait for thursday, if ins't unlocked i will chat again all day long.lol

Click on forgot your user id....just fill in a random email and it would tell that it doesn't recognize your email. You should see the chat flash link just below it.

I don't recomend this method as it first goes to the "unlock login" id dept and then they transfer you to the tech support. Half of times they wouldn't transfer and would just ask you to call the tech support directly on the toll free no once you tell them your purpose. Instead use the other link posted above and wait for abt 30mins to 2 hrs to get connected.
