All the information this person provided is incorrect. buying from Apple or att using Next is no different.
Incorrect statement 1. Att doesn't offer Apple care. They sure do but obviously prefer to sell their own protection products.
Incorrect statement 2. Att next is next every year. Trade in at 12 months and pay off in 24. Or att next which is upgrade at 24 months and pay in 30 months. No such 36 payment exist and 18 month upgrades hasn't been a thing in a few months at this point.
Who cares if I said anything wrong. Its just nitpicking. Screw AT&T next. Get it from the Apple Store instead. And it will be unlocked. Did I say that AT&T included applecare??? I don't think I did? Mayhbe it was a typo??? I think its better to get the iPhone from the Apple Store. I bet the unlocked phone would allow you to keep paying apple for the phone and allow you to tell AT&T to go get lost and go to sprint. Or vz or t-mo
When you buy AT&T next you are on the hook for the balance of the phone in 30 months and you have to pay off the phone to switch carriers.
I believe, although I am not sure, that if you buy the iphone from the Apple Store, you are only on the hook for 24 months, and you can take your unlocked phone to any carrier you feel like it
As often as you like, try that with AT&T next buddy
And with Apple you get the same 12 month upgrade period
Ask AT&T if you can switch carriers with their next.
Ask apple if you can switch carriers with their iphone plan
Iphone upgrade iphone 6s plus 128 gig
$44.91
Iphone is unlocked
Upgrade in 12months
Phone paid off in 24
Incldues applecare
AT&T next choices
No apple care
AT&T Next Every Year: 24 monthly installments; eligible for upgrade with eligible trade-in when 50% of the full retail price is paid off (approximately 12 monthly installment payments). A 30% down payment may be required. ( so that would be $282 down and $27 a month ? )
AT&T Next: 30 monthly installments; eligible for upgrade with eligible trade-in when 80% of the full retail price is paid off (approximately 24 monthly installment payments). A 30% down payment may be required. (So tha would be $282 down and $22 a month ?)
Applecare if not free with the apple iphone deal. Its mixed in with the payments
Apple as far as I know, apple does not have a down payment. Now that apple has their own payment deal ,there is really no point to getting an iphone financed from the carrier. Its just going to be locked to them until its fully paid off. The only reason I would get an iphone from AT&T is buy one get one free deal, otherwise I would just get apple's program
[doublepost=1469953240][/doublepost]Today I learned after 9 months or so AT&T has given the green light to A1687/1688 Phones. awesome
Can more people with these phones check their IMEIs to see if this is true?
