It sucks!!! Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it on an Android? I have, and speeds were about 10Mb-20Mb down. This might seem fast to some, but when others are pulling nearly 60mbps down 10mbps can hurt. AT&T only gave Chicago 10Mhz of spectrum, whereas other markets got 20Mhz for LTE.

So I feel bad for anyone in the Chicago land area who hops on the next iPhone. Speeds will only drastically decrease.

I work in the loop, so you probably already know what 3G speeds are like mid-afternoon.

FYI best city in the world

Yes I do. Though LTE speeds will probably be even worse than 3G since they only gave us 10mhz of spectrum.

So you had more than 10-20MB download speeds on 3G?

I'm on "4G" w/ AT&T and I'm only doing 2-3MB so you are not that bad.

20 Mb doesn't suck at all. Chicago is a huge market. Best city in the world by far, though.

I had 10-20mbps down on LTE which is not crazy fast. people in Texas are getting 60mbps down on LTE.

LTE signal has been great in and around Chicago for me on an android device. Decent signal even downtown during the week.

And are you seriously complaining about not getting 50mbps down?? You do realize as more and more LTE devices are released (like the next iPhone), those speeds are going to decrease quite a bit right?

What is only 10mpbs keeping you from doing?

Clearly he was downloading a virtual machine. ;)

People clearly don't realize this. While i'm positive it will perform better than "4G" or 3G, we might have to be happy with 12-16 Mbps. That's AMAZING, especially for VZW users who probably haven't seen more than 1.5 Mbps on CDMA.
