I got one about a month ago. I had signed up for email notification about five months ago, but never saw the notification (not sure if not sent, or if it simply got trapped by my spam filter). Anyway, I paid the $150 and am not paying the $20/month because I don't make oodles of calls at home. I have gone from 0-2 bars in the house to a steady 4 bars. I have had to reset it twice thus far (hit the recessed button with a paper clip). It's about 4 feet from a window, and after a very slow initial setup (1.5 hours?) it now resets in about 5 minutes.

I know that some people object to these on principle, because it means we pay more to overcome AT&T's shortcomings. In my case, the ability to get a strong signal in my house overrode this principle.

I live in a pit. Sprint's able to find me, but AT&T just can't handle it.

So I can't wait to try this out and see if I can talk to people again. If so, I will radically accelerate the purchase of an iPhone4. I was going to hold off until I moved in March.

I picked one up when I got the new phone on Thursday and I could not be happier. I always laughed because I could go across the street to the neighbors and have a strong signal but come back over and it was two bars at best. nothing but 5 bars now.

Got one the other day... Works great. I did the $20 unlimited just for the rebate. Will cancel it when I get my rebate back. You do not sign any type of contract. It only works with the phones you setup in your account so no one who you don't approve is piggybacking your internet.
