My wife demanded a first gen iPhone, and I reluctantly agreed to get her one. That was my first Apple product since I was child, and I had built up a pretty unreasonable hatred of them over the years (10 years as a Windows sys admin).

Fast forward to now and we've had 2 Ipods, 3 Iphones, a Macbook Pro, and I'm buying our second Macbook Pro this weekend.
 
Wait, how many of you went to UTA? That is a pretty crazy coincidence! I graduated in 02' I wonder if any of us actually know each other? My full name is David Boice, if you Google it their is a pic of me on the UT Arlington fb alumni page. Small world, sorry to drift off topic.

LOL, this is my first mac product since the 80's. I'm fighting the urge to leave work now and pick up one of everything at the apple store :)

I wonder if their computers are as big of a leap forward as the phone?
