One bar of EDGE or GPRS service with 0.0001 KB/sec data and continuous dropped calls is still "100% COVERAGE" in their eyes.

AT&T: Then you have coverage!

It's all marketing. AT&T still has quite a few EDGE and GPRS areas out there.

Covering people is misleading. Just means heavily populated areas have coverage. So you are covered as long as you stay in one place. Sort of contradicts the notion of a "mobile" phone. I want service when I'm out and about.

I have a buddy who drives through Kentucky daily for his job and has AT&T and he goes in and out of service all the time. so I know at least Kentucky has a lot of black holes.
