A Verizon orderer said their ship date actually slipped. I hope that's not a bad sign for third party vendors like AT&T.

I called AT&T earlier, and they said it would ship 21st-28th, but not expected to arrive until 24th-30th.

That sounds more like a guess on their part, not actual information.

I'm scheduled for May 24st-31st ship, June 1st-7th delivery. I doubt I'll get it on May 21, but I hope its sooner than early June. But if it is, so be it.

Last time I ordered a new iPad through at&t it came days after launch. I got 11 256gb on order with no moment as well, I don’t plan on getting it till next week
There's 2 pages the delivery date is on the Order Summery and the expected to ship is on the Order Details

In the past, they've received shipments pre-staged for delivery on launch day. But this time, who knows.

On my order I’m only seeing shipping date range of a week, no delivery date. What am I missing? I guess I missed the first boatload.

Don't think so. Apple sells millions more iPhones upon release and they manage those fine.

I stopped guessing. I have those ship by dates and figure it’ll be waiting for me when I get back from vacation at the end of next week.
I don’t expect to see any change till Friday, shipped, hopefully.

So the 2020 iPad Pro (4th gen I think it was if the new one is 5th gen) I ordered from AT&T as soon as you could preorder and I received it on launch day. I expected the same this time around but I don’t know if that is happening. Last year, (if I’m not mistaken) release day was 4/15/20. I checked old emails and AT&T did not ship the iPad Pro to me until 4/14/20 and I received it overnight, so if the same is true we should get shipping notifications tomorrow. The only problem is I don’t remember though when my card was charged - it may have been the same day it shipped. I remembered thinking last time I wouldn’t receive on launch and that AT&T was late with the orders but they came through so I’d hold out hope, although with the supply issues it could be very different this time.
I ordered as soon as I could on preorder day from AT&T this time but since I ordered the 1TB, my shipping window was May 28-June 4th so I’m much less optimistic this time.
Does anyone that preordered the 1TB or 2TB have a delivery window starting May 21? I was refreshing the site like crazy the morning of preordering but still got a delivery window of May 28-June 4.

The official start time was 8AM EST. But from what other people are saying, orders were actually opened on AT&T at 7:30AM. So if there were 1 or 2TB options for May 21, they probably went early. (I got Jun 1 to June 7 delivery for 2TB, ordering at 8AMish.)
