I went to my PC to AT&T to check order status instead of on my iPhone Mobile site. And it stated shipped FedEx with tracking. Will be here tomorrow 9/25.

On mobile site still states "preparing to ship" 10/2-10/13

Ordered Plus 64GB SG Premier. Order placed 12:45AM on 9/12 order 1012.

Best of luck to those that still are waiting.

Just remember next year to go through Apple instead of AT&T
 
According to the link provided it says "In Progress" is that good?

I'm still catching up on this thread, so maybe you've gotten answers by now, but mine said 'in progress' when I checked about a half hour before I finally saw that it had shipped, so it might!
 
It seems really odd that you haven't received tracking yet, or even gone to being processed. You ordered the same phone as me, 17 minutes earlier, if I recall your details correctly. Are you sure there is nothing holding up your order? I sure hope not, and I really hope you get tracking tonight or tomorrow.
Nothing I am aware of. I did the AT&T chat thing monday and they said nothing was wrong just that it was "received" by AT&T (Useless, I know)
 
Hi what does in process mean in this website?

I don't think anyone knows for sure. Unless someone can check it who hasn't gone to "order being processed" on 877 and then maybe we can figure out a correlation to what is being reported there.

Left work at 3, just got home from the gym, tracking says picked up at 3:06 this afternoon.

Last night 7:30-ish order went from backordered to processing
Email at 12-ish today updating my AT&T service
Shipped at 3:06 -- no email from AT&T saying shipped, just website notification.

Folks, I just called the 877 number and it said SHIPPED, site showing status too:

I'd have to say that the 877 status is most accurate. Within 24 hours of 877 saying the order was being processed, I had tracking and confirmation of delivery by 9/25.

AT&T sites updated a few hours later.

And just now, I got an email and text. So their systems are behind, no doubt.

They're coming...even if it's nearly a week after launch.
 
I finally received my tracking number this morning. I ordered 6 Plus 64gb SG. When I called 877 number it changed last night from backordered to processing order. Premier or att websites did not show any updates hours later. When I called 877 number this morning it said 6 plus shipped. Att.com website updated with tracking number shortly thereafter. It took a few hours to receive att email and FedEx email update with tracking number.

FYI - I ordered at 3:11 am EST on 12th. I then received confirmation email at 5:25 am that same day. I actually had phone in my cart before 3am EST but tried to get on Apple site as I preferred to order there. After a few minutes I gave up and checked out on att website. Sad but I talked to Apple rep at 7 am and she offered to order phone for me but I decided not to stick with att thinking I would be close to the front of the line ordering within first 11 minutes. I was updated to Oct 2nd ship date several days ago.

When I called 866 number yesterday rep informed me that my order was placed at 3:11 and confirmation email at 5:25 was only an acknowledgement email of order. My actual time stamp was 9:25 am. He could not tell me why it took over 6 hours to process. If others who ordered after me were processed quicker, then this is why their phone shipped before mine.

Funny thing is I had to call main 800 number yesterday for something else and asked about status update of order. Rep felt bad for me and offered $25 credit. Supervisor got on the line and said they could not do credit because att was not at fault. Supervisor assured me many times orders were first come first serve basis. I politely disagreed and referred him to this thread. He said no way possible. He informed me maybe it was due to my internet connection speed and this is why my order took so long to process. I informed him I had att U-verse and the fastest speed offered in my area. He was then silent for a few seconds. Very frustrating call.

Update - I talked to a rep today who was extremely nice and recognized there were issues with ordering process. She went out of her way to help me with some other questions I had and put the credit on my account saying how much she valued me as att customer. She has since followed up a few more times today. Guess it just matters who you get when you call.

I hope everyone else gets tracking numbers soon. This has been quite an adventure to put it nicely!

I can live with a week. It took me a week to get my hands on my 5s. It was just as satisfying, if not more, than having all my prior iPhones in my hand on launch day.

What is hard to live with is the way AT&T handled the order/shipping queue.

That might just be the dumbest thing I've heard a CSR say yet. If you got an order confirmation page as soon as you placed the order, that means AT&T received the order. Does he think it was hanging out somewhere in the nether world trying to make it's way to AT&T? :rolleyes:

This is the first time I've been a part of this pre-order madness, so I had no idea what to expect...it's been stressful and fun haha

I got the 3GS a year or 2 late and then the 4S which I'm on now, 2 years ago.
 
So Sad :(

Still no change....Tried to stay positive and hopeful all day, but this starts getting depressing seeing all of the shipments....It's like Bingo or the Lottery and I'm not the winner. :(
