AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Waiting As Well... Online Order Date 09/12 3:30PM PST Los Angeles

Hello All,

Like most people still on these boards I am waiting as well with an ETA of 11/09 - 11/27. Haven't heard a peep and order is still "back ordered" I skipped out on the 5 & 5s, I went through the whole pre-order with my 4s 64 gig. Personally do not remember it taking THIS LONG, this is very frustrating. :(

It didn't. I follow the same process for ordering my phones every year. This is the first one I haven't gotten on launch day if I went down on the first day of preorders and ordered at my local ATT store.

I finally got tracking this morning at 2:38 am est
Was picked up from Memphis at 10:45 am
Estimated delivery date is Thursday the 16th
I hope everyone gets their phone and I will be in here for awhile after I get mine. Except this weekend anniversary haha

I would agree that Steve would never had the preorder go on the 12th knowing he didn't have enough stock to supply the first how ever many countries were first.
 
Not a single 6+ 128GB SG in the world!

I just searched istocknow.com for the 6+ 128GB SG and there is not a single one in any country at least in an apple store and every US carrier has at minimum 4-6 weeks delivery..

I am sure that means that my 6+ 128GB SG which was scheduled to ship this week is now pushed back at least that far?

my order still shows processing and pending shipping...it has never showed backordered..

my window is 10/13 to 10/22

I pre ordered on 9/12 at 3:50AM!!

If your experience follows mine, on the morning of 10/22, you will be pushed to "Backordered"....

My phone (128GB SG 6+) had a ship date of 10/2-10/13. Morning of the 13th, status changed to "Backordered" and no ship date...
 
An update on the Best Buy situation. I called again to ask about the preoders... (As I stated earlier today they told me they would not be getting any 6's or 6+'s in stock without preoders) I was told that they can actually only preoder 6's at the moment and that they are not even capable of ordering 6+'s for now.

On the bright side maybe this means that Apple is actually shifting what few 6+'s that it does have to the people who have acutally preorderd them instead of send them to Big Box stores and hopefully our order fulfillment will pick up. Heres to hoping at least!

Please say it isn't so....I am so disappointed in everyone involved in this fiasco! ATT and Apple! Not sure I will ever upgrade again during launch..I have always gotten my new iphone on launch day in store...now I am not sure I will upgrade with all of the hype anymore..I will resign myself to wait out the hoopla..I have hated this entire experience!!

I would think it is more likely that stock is being diverted to China for their launch on Friday.

Damn so you got pushed back? Wow that sucks.

Anyone else with a 10/2 - 10/13 shipping bracket get pushed back as well? That only means that I'll probably get pushed back now too. uuuggghhh :mad:

Also, to all those who ordered after the 12th and have a November shipping estimate, trust me, the way things are going, that shipping window is legit unless some miracle happens.
 
Just a thought, but I wonder what would happen if the national news started reporting on all the people waiting endlessly for their iPhone's.... I haven't heard a word on any national news broadcast on the issue. Just the fact that Apple sold so many during the first days of pre-order..

IMO Apple flopped on this launch. They should at least halt pre-orders until they're able to catch up. Instead, we're all left to the curb while orders keep flowing in. At this rate it'll take months for stock to even out, ridiculous.

I could only imagine how the launch of the iWatch will be.

Yes - I have started to expect that my phone wont come at all until November. Which is actually more information than ATT has actually given me so I'm glad it shook out this way because now, at least I know. Knowing is half the battle we are all having. Maybe a quarter :)

You can say that again, unfortunately I ordered the same as you. There's stories about this creature being seen in the wild, although rare, I've never witnessed one myself.
 
Guldurnit! 2 6+'s ordered Sep 19th, were to arrive 10.20 through 10.27 sometime. They were shipped on the 11th from China with a delivery date of this Thursday. Checked the tracking again today and now it's set for Friday instead, because the phones went from China, to Korea, to Alaska, back to China, and back to Korea. BOO UPS!

Well the cell phone technology in China is different and requires different hardware to be able to operate on their TD-LTE network. So while Apple may be sending phones there for launch its not the phones they would be sending us. That being said I agree that they should not be launching in another county with that many pre-orders until they have taken care of the people who have literally pre-ordered over a month ago here in their initial launch country.

If I get omy phone on the last day of my window of 10/31-11/11 (which I'm beginning to think would be lucky at best) it will have been exactly 60 days since the initial pre-order date when my order was placed in store a week before they even went on sale to the public.

Consider yourself lucky. I ordered on the 12th, and have no expected ship date anymore. At least you have some idea when to expect your phone.

First come, first served is a lie foisted on us by AT&T.
