I have yet to call that number. Does it ever really say anything different than that redundant 'status' on the AT&T website?
Been 24 hours since the 877 number went from back order to processing. No shipping info yet? Here we go again.
It took 6 days for me to go from being processed to shipped.
It gives you an automated response based on your order info. Just call up for yourself, it doesn't bite.

Both my brothers and my 6 + 128 GB SG are backordered still. Seriously wanna punch backorder lady in the face at this point. It's ridiculous. Yet Apple keeps opening for business in other countries.
I guess going from back order to being processed on 877# doesn't really mean much (unless maybe if your expected ship dates are close?) Mine went from back order to processing two weeks ago but nothing has changed since. Ordered 9/12 430pm est and have had ship dates of 11/9-11/27 since day one. One website has said being processed since day one, the other says preparing to ship with 0 back ordered and 877 still says your order is being processed for item # blah blah blah your expected ship dates are between 11/9-11/27. There are ppl who ordered after launch day with sooner ship dates! I was in my att store yesterday to look at the display model for the first time and the girl working there said she didn't expect to see any until Christmas.
Anyone else always have to put your order number in on 877 cuz it can't find it by your phone number?

I don't normally buy movies (but if I do, I usually get them on physical media because they come with a digital copy that I can upload to a tablet or phone), but if I had to choose, I'd choose Amazon Prime - only because I use both Android and iOS devices. Amazon Prime would give me the freedom to watch the movie on either device. Oh, and on xBox too.
Same here, 877 does not find my order using phone number. I need to enter Order Id which is different than actual order number. That number was sent in my order confirmation email from ATT. My shipping date is same as yours and I ordered 30 minutes before you. 6+64, SG.
Another way you can tell if your iPhone has "shipped" is by checking that your credit card has been charged for purchasing the iPhone. I noticed that AT&T has already charged my Discover Card for the $40 "Upgrade" fee shortly after I ordered my iPhone. I'm assuming they will charge my credit card for the purchase after changing my status to "Shipped" in their billing system.
I hear ya, hang in there. I'm 10/13 - 10/22 and am still in back order limbo. I won't be surprised if I hear nothing until the 22nd. I might even end up getting pushed back, who knows.
