I think if anyone that ordered in September do not get them in this month something needs to be done. Att needs to be accountable and so should Apple.

Today my order went from backordered on the website and in the 877 number to "preparing to ship" again in the website and "processing" on the 877 number (this is the first time the lady says something other than backordered since I first placed the order).

Ordered 6plus grey 128gb from a ATT corporate store and have gotten all the same emails from ATT on the delays with the last one being dec12-19 for delivery. I really don't believe it will happen then either. Theres one apple store an hour from me but never has any 128gb so that's out. I ordered on Sept 26. Called the number and it's still back ordered!

Same dates, same phone.
I called just now and also got "Your order is being processed." With the November 9th-27th shipping dates. Instead of the backordered message I had been getting. Huh?
And the website went from Backordered to the same messages it had before the shipping window passed on November 28th. What?
It's going to ship in November 2014?
Maybe it's going to ship soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

I cancelled after 9 weeks of ATTs BS. Ordered through Apple 11/13 and was given dates of 12/19-12-23. It changed earler to 12/9-12/15. Hoping that means I get an email later.

I think this is also Apple's fault, they are screwing over the carriers so that they can sell the phones at the Apple stores at full price plus get commission for new lines. Shady stuff like this makes people get turned off from the Apple brand.
Sorry. I'm joking about the fact that even though I ordered a phone on 9/22 and still don't have it - that my current "shipping dates" are 12/12-19. Which we all know is BS. No Premier customer like myself is getting a phone any time soon, as AT&T has to fulfill the orders of new customers!

Other posters have indicated that when the 877 number changes from backordered to processing, you may actually get your phone within a week.
Mine is still saying backordered, but my ship date says 12/12-12/19 (original was 10/31-11/11). I ordered mine a few days after you, so maybe we'll see them before Christmas, though I won't hold my breath!
Finally, my order of 6+ 128 SG placed on 9/22 has moved to processed on 877#. CC just charged. No tracking number yet but it is finally happening. Extremely disappointed in AT&T over the whole process.
Then there's a good chance mine might ship!
(It's not on my CC, so I won't know if or when a charge occurs.)

Placed my order for iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey on October 21. Originally had ship date of 12/3-12/10. Now has ship date of 12/12-12/19. Still says "preparing to ship" on order status page. Don't have a phone currently so I can't check on the 877 number. Hopefully my phone is on its way with you guys. Problem is, my ATT bill is way over due so I'm worried that when they get around to actually shipping the phone they'll cancel the order because my bill is overdue. Wasn't overdue on Oct 21 though.

so, i just ordered an iphone 6, 16gb SG and a 64gb SG for the wife and I through ATT. I actually had a gripe about some stuff and was "taken care of" through the retentions department. When it was all done he told me that the phone should ship in a couple days and that i was getting 2 day priority or expedited shipping.
Am i being jerked around or is it the 6+ 128 gb that you all seem to be waiting months for? If i dont have them shortly, should i just cancel and go to apple or an att store that has them locally?
I ordered over the phone just so i wouldn't have to take a trip to the closest apple / att store which is about 45 min away from me.

It is only the 128gb 6+ phones that are an issue. 16bg models are mostly in stock everywhere. You should be fine.
