Low and behold. I just called the 877 number and it said "the order is being processed." That is the first time I have ever heard something other than "back ordered" so I guess that's good. Film at eleven.

Congrats! You should receive the shipping information sometime later today. I guess they were correct with your shipping window this time.

So will you call the BBB to retract your earlier complaint, since it is shipping within your window?

Not the BBB. I've actually spoken to AT&T in regards to that. I will be contacting the FCC though. On one hand we are getting the phones but on the other hand they did jerk us around for a LONG time.
 
Mine just went to shipping also. SG 6+ 128. Ordered Oct 20 (after the canceled an order that was placed end of Sept).

Except that it did not appear to be AT&T's fault. All of the carriers were unable to ship the 128GB SG 6+. I do not consider that "jerking around". However, saying that, they could have done a much better job of communication by saying, hey, we ordered so many thousand of these, and Apple is saying we won't get any until X date. At least we would be aware of where the problem really lies. And if AT&T signed some sort of agreement with Apple where they could not disclose such information, well, bad on them for agreeing to that.
 
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict I won't be seeing my phone ship by Dec 19. Just a hunch. I wish I could change my order to 64-gb.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle. I just got my shipment notification. I ordered on Oct 21.
 
I don't blame AT&T completely. Have they made a bad situation worse...yes. But it isn't all their fault. My main issue with AT&T is that they should stop pumping sunshine up customers butts. Stop with the unrealistic shipping windows. Stop giving mixed messages on shipping statuses. One site says preparing to ship, another will say processing and another will say backordered. What the heck??? It's the same company and it seems one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. That's what makes me the madest.

I'm an adult. I can wait if you give me honest information.
 
I strong believe that these 6+ 128gb phones are completely different than the ones they first made. I know they had serious issues with faulty chips and the whole bendgate stuff. But there is no other reasons that I can come up with that would take Apple over 3 months to ship these phones from launch day. The first week of launch day all three apple stores in my area (Miami Florida) had a few 6+ 128gb phones. After 3-4 weeks later, it went to 0 and stayed at 0 even to this day.

Something had to have happened, I am sure apple will never admit to it, but I am sure they replaced the faulty chips with new ones and that is the reason for all these delays.

At least thats my story and I'm sticking to it!

I had a 6 at first, and noticed it did not seem as fast as a new iPhone usually does. Hopefully the 6 plus will be snappier?

Haha, maybe they are putting 2 GB of RAM in this latest batch?
 
I ordered my 6+ 128gb SG late (11/17) and it has now just shipped. I guess they really are catching up!

Ordered through AT&T Business Premiere over the phone. My ship dates were 12/29 - 01/07

I'm quite sure Apple changed the NAND chips because of freezing issues. The NAND provider was not expecting an order so large for the older style NAND vs what they were already making. They would have had to change manufacturing and ramp up inventory. I agree 100%, these are different then Gen 1.

Ordered my grey 6+ 64 on 12/11. Got it 12/12. Certified like new is the way to go.

Again, inventory of 64GB has been way better than 128GB. Also, again, AT&T Premier members (corporate discount) are not eligible to buy anywhere other than AT&T unless they purchase an unlocked phone at full retail. That discount is substantial and worth the wait, IMO.
I would like to know where "Certified like new" is available though. Not through Apple yet that's for sure. eBay?
 
I got an email with a tracking number just now. A label has been created and it is on its way to UPS. It is shipping from Texas UPS ground. My guess is Monday.

128gb SG . Ordered on Nov. 10 - Premiere.

Mine is shipping from Memphis. Usually I get 2nd day with FedEx from Memphis. So, I hope Friday.

My shipping window was 12/19 - 12/31......FedEx says it will be delivered tomorrow 12/19.

So, Hopefully yours will be on the way today.

Yes I did get an email and yes I have a tracking number. Unfortunately the package is not yet in UPS possession and is shipping ground. Looks like AT&T is going to torture me down to the very end.
 
Watching the tracking on my order. The box dimensions are really strange, and huge. I wonder if this is done in an attempt to disguise what the package actually is. The weight is 2 pounds.....about right considering the size of the box.

I would call a CSR and ask for a supervisor. I was told several times (when I was asking for overnight shipping) that you can call them and inform them that there is nothing wrong with your card and you should get put back in the same spot where you were before the erroneous cancellation. Albeit, check to make sure you have sufficient funds in the account tied to your card, and the expiration date of the card.

PS: The place where you should go back to is the forefront of all shipments, since that cancellation happened when they tried to charge your card for shipment... At least that's the best conclusion I can make.

The phone has left Ft. Worth Texas to be delivered on Tuesday. Depending on what time it arrives I'm guessing it will just sit in the box until Friday. No way I'll be dealing with activation etc. on Christmas eve and Christmas.
 
Ok, I called and asked to be escalated to a supervisor right off the bat, explained my situation, he agreed to place me in the front of the shipping queue, HOWEVER....

He accidentally selected iPhone 6 instead of 6+ so I'll have to go exchange it at a store after I receive it.


Smh. Lol at least they took care of the issue and I'm not stuck with this 80 year old Galaxy Nexus any longer.

So I got charged when I called them, card was charged and shipping status says "in progress" for my 6. Does that mean ill get tracking info later tonight?

Still passed I gotta get a 6 first then exchange it for a 6+ later
