AT&T pre paid vs post paid plans

I have had the Go Phone prepaid service from at&t. Is there a difference in coverage, or signal strength between the go phone plans and the regular at&t plans? I have a 5c, planning to get an SE soon. Thank you

No. They all use the same network. It's just your consumption that differs.

I think it might affect roaming. However that's just what I had read. I'm unsure myself.

I have Cricket Pre-Paid which is run off the AT&T towers. Using it with the iPhone 7 is wonderful. I pay $45 (with auto pay on) a month total for 8GB data and unlimited calling and text and the speed is super fast. It does NOT have roaming and if you want to tether an iPhone you have to pay an additional $10 a month. For some reason, the androids I had before could tether with no extra charge. If you need more data it's $55 for 12GB and $65 for unlimited.
