AT&T Premier Order - Shipment Status

I ordered my 5S on the AT&T Premier site about 20mins after order taking went live.

Got an email saying Estiamted ship date of 10/1 to 10/10. I goto the order status site and I get estimated ship date of 10/10 to 10/30! :eek:

WTH. Anyone wish to compare statues with AT&T? I'm tempted to goto a store and try to pick one up instead of waiting till November to see my phone. What a joke!
 
Ditto except I ordered from the premier site at 2:50, somehow the site opened early for me but it doesn't look like it made any difference.
 
I freaking hate AT&T. I can only buy through the crazy Premier service (They certainly don't live up to their name). Would be alot easier if I could buy through apple direct. :(

Seriously considering grabbing Tmobile instead, if I dont' see my phone by next week.
 
I got the email at 3:10, shipment was quoted from 7-14 days. I got another email with shipment estimate from 10/21 to 10/30.

So Im not happy with att
 
Had the same issues with ATT, but finally was able to place order.

I just posted this in another thread but figured it might apply here also:

Just got done chatting with my 2nd CSR of the day and got this response regarding the 10/21 - 10/31 ship date.

"Since this is for an iPhone 5s, you may experience delay on shipment. The 10/21 to 10/30 is a system generated shipment dates. You should still receive the device within 7-14 days since if it gets delayed, it should only consume 2 to 3 business days."

Confirmed that the 10/21 - 10/31 are shipping placeholders
 
Upgraded 4 overdue lines with Space Grey 16gb all within 6 minutes after 3:01am EST opening window.

Received 4 emails immediately after saying shipping between 7 - 28 days.

AT&T website says for iPhone:

Item Status: Preparing to Ship
Shipping Date: 10/01/13 - 10/30/13*

Various SIM: Back-ordered

ordered a couple minutes ago (around 10:30am cst) and they told me 21-28 days for the gold 32gb. i haven't gotten an e-mail confirmation or anything though..
 
Previous years through Premier ordering... they have no clue when it will ship.

It will take at least until October to ship but it won't take 30 days. Last two years they've shipped at the 10 day and 13 day marks. But when you call them they'll tell you 30 days just because their inventory system isn't live to them.
 
Could not place an order with premier last two iphone launches, their site was just crashing. Placed an order at 12.03 am through apple store app. Available to ship in 1-3 days, likely comes from china in a week

Don't have premiere but pretty much the same deal. I have a feeling it'll ship much sooner. Although 7-28 days is funny. Maybe they should update their shipping time to wheneva. LOL!
 
I placed an order for a 16 GB white 5S **before** midnight - I noticed the AT&T store came back online about 10 minutes early. I decided against my better judgment to go ahead and order through AT&T instead of waiting for the Apple store to come back and potentially staying up for another hour or more to try and get an order to go through. Initial shipping estimate was 7-14 days.

This morning, the estimate is October 21-28.

Bait and switch much? Would have never placed an order if I knew it was going to potentially be five weeks before delivery.

Fool me once, AT&T...

How were you able to order through the Apple store app if you are a premier customer (Corporate FAN)? My understanding it all has to be done through AT&T ONLY???
 
Same for me. I placed an order around 12.15 past midnight. 32GB, White/Silver, ATT.

That has changed. I ordered early this morning direct from Apple and have a premier account. This is what I received:

Available to ship: 1 - 3 business days
Delivers: Sep 30 - Oct 2 by Standard Shipping
 
bah, ordered 7am est, silver 64gb. Oct 21-28th delivery date. I also might have done things differently if I knew this.

This is what I get with a premier acct and I try via apple.com, same as always:

We're sorry. The AT&T account you have is a business account. Please contact your company's telecom manager or AT&T account manager to complete your iPhone purchase.
 
I ordered through AT&T (my account is linked to Premier because of the discount I get through work) a little before 3AM EST yesterday. 5s Space Grey 32GB.

Originally, it gave me the 7-14 business day shipment estimate on the website.
I got an email this morning confirming the order giving an October 21 - 30 ship date, which obviously is way off from the estimate they gave me when ordering.

But this afternoon they updated the ship date on the order status page to 10/1 - 10/10.

I got the same dates as you and I ordered a few minutes before it went live through AT&T. I have also a Premier Account. Mine is a 32GB silver.
At least I know it will take as little as 2 days after they send me the phone, so in the end I think/hope we will get it just as fast or maybe a day or two later than the people that ordered through apple.
 
Don't worry too much about what your account says. Last year I ordered two iPhone 5s through Premier. My wife's showed shipping information and was delivered on launch day. Mine was delivered on launch day even though according to the website it hadn't even shipped yet. A week after launch, I finally got an update e-mail saying it had shipped.

Their system is screwed. I know people who have had it go the other way...says one date and then ships a week later.
 
I suppose I'm on a lower premier tier and therefore can order through apple. All I have is 20% service discount, no hardware discounts.
 
Does preparing to ship mean ATT has it in inventory? Mine says oct 01 to oct 10. SIM card is backordered but I don't need that.
