I've placed my new family plan from AT&T Premier for two new lines. I simply used my work email address and followed the link.

Now I have 2 iphone4Ss activated and working fine but I cannot use AT&T premier online website, whenever I tried to register, it gives an error:

"Sorry, the wireless number you entered is an IRU (individual responsibility) account. This account type is ineligible for Premier Online Care. Please contact your administrator for assistance."

But if I login through the att.com, I can see my FAN information clearly. Is there anything I am missing? :confused:
 
Nope that's the way it should work. As long as you see the FAN attached to your account when you login to your AT&T Wireless account you are good to go and will get any discounts available.

Based on the message that you posted , you would need a Corporate Responsible Unit (CRU) type line to get a Premier login. That means that your work would be paying for your phone bill.

I used to be a premier customer 2 years ago. That time I was able to login and make purchases/changes to my premier account. And I was paying my own bill as usual...

That's why I surprised now.
 
No problem, are you with a new business or using a different FAN?

If you click on the upgrade link from within your AT&T online account you will be directed to the Premier Store and it will list the Sponsor's name in the top right corner instead of the cryptic FAN in OLAM.

The direct Premier login is for business purchasing agents, not for individuals (IRU accounts).

You get to Premier Store via wireless.att.com automatically when you go to purchase something, there's not a separate entry point for individual account users.

So long as your FAN shows up in your online account management at wireless.att.com and you get to business customer support when you dial 611, you're set up fine.
