AT&T Reverses Course on Internet Phone Apps

    First MMS, now this. Since all things happen in threes, I'm assuming the app and song download limits of 10MB will disappear. I guess AT&T is just throwing caution to the wind on the network's capability and will just let it all fly.

    Yup, it was.

    I'm genuinely excited about this, do you think they did it just because or to avoid any further prying by the FCC?

    I have a feeling they are agreeing to VOIP apps to avoid the FCC digging deeper and demanding all apps be given access to 3G. So I don't see video streaming apps getting an ok any time soon.

    It's the old "throw a scrap of bone in front of the dog to avoid him going after the pot roast" plan.
