Carrier At&t sales tax

    hello people I will be ordering an iPhone 7 via AT&T next on apple page will they charge the sales tax to the AT&T account?

    No, it'll be charged to your credit/debit card. You have to pay the sales tax up front.

    That's actually contingent upon the state where you reside.

    What? No. When you checkout you will be asked to provide payment information.

    If you live in CA or NY you have to pay the sales tax up front for the whole cost of the device, this was even the case on subsidized contract devices.

    Yes I have that all setup already on apple online store ahead of the preorder
