AT&T Shipping vs. Apple Shipping

Which means customers that pre-ordered before the cut off should receive them the 24th.

That's how I read it too.
 
I pre orderd at 6am eastern time. Money was paid for 5 min later. I can check and see I have a order processing @ att.com. I called yesterday at 1pm to check on why I have not recieved email and they said it is ordered and done correctly and to wait for email. It is now 2pm the next day and still no email. Should I worry?

Consumers may preorder iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS 8GB at AT&T retail stores or online at www.att.com/iphone beginning June 15. Business customers can preorder through their AT&T sales representative or by visiting AT&T’s Premier site. For greater convenience and faster delivery, preorders can be shipped directly to a customer’s home or business for delivery as early as June 24. Customers can also have a preorder shipped to their local AT&T store for pick up on or after Friday, June 25.

AT&T stores will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and will accommodate as many customers as possible.

I would doubt that there is a difference between Apple and ATT delivery.
 
FYI, I ordered mine from Apple's site; after the fact I saw the note that they will only ship to my billing address (which I hadn't expected because last year there was no trouble with them shipping to my work address).

So what did I do?

I logged onto AT&T's account management, wrote my work address in as my billing address, then signed back into Apple's site and edited my order. It took all of 3 minutes and now my phone is coming straight to my office on the 24th. I'll change my billing info back after I receive the phone :)

The actual shipment date and receipt of your order is not guaranteed and may be subject to delays for reasons that include, but are not limited to, product availability, inventory, credit issues, number porting or carrier delays, and completion of other required AT&T business processes."
 
If they ship it on the 24th and it's supposed to be overnight it should get to us on the 24th in the Morning. Unless they send it during the day hours of the 24th (which I doubt).

IF they do ship it out on the 24th we won't get them to the 25th.
