AT&T Store change my plan to 2gb without my knowledge

    I got an email from AT&T customer support notifying me of a change to my data plan. This seemed odd to me because I was under the impression nothing changed with my data plan when I upgraded to the iphone 4 on 6/24. well after calling up customer care, they confirmed that my data plan was changed from $30/unlimited to $25/2gb!!! When i was in the store on 6/24 I asked the AT&T store employee at least 5 times to make sure my data plan doesn't changed. he straight lied to my face! I called up the manager today and he said he's been hearing of a few cases of this...he blamed it on a bug in AT&T equipment upgrade system.

    just sharing my story with you all to make sure you check your account after iphone4 upgrade.

    I wish I could blame everything that went wrong at my work on a "bug".

    are they going to fix it? or are they giving you the "Unfortunately, we have no way of going back once it has been put through." Line?

    I actually dropped my plan down to 200mb. I seriously don't use much data.

    in-store att reps are known for doing this kind of stuff all the time.

    punk probably did it cuz you kept asking him not to...

    AT&T business customer care said they would not be able to add the unlimited plan back on.

    But the store manager was able to take care of it after I complained about the practices of his store's employees
