Hi MR, I have an iPhone 6+ 128GB Gold and I was so happy to trade it in and get the 6S+. I went to AT&T they looked into my account and boom nothing happened. So here is some history for you guys. I have had iPhone since "iPhone 1," and at that time I signed up for unlimited data. Each year from the iPhone 1 till the 6+ I have been grandfathered into my program. So this year, I went into AT&T and they said I can use another lines upgrade to get the 6S+ but that will increase the price of that line per month from $15-$25 dollars. My upgrade is in July 2016. How can I get around this, I am stuck in this 2 year contract, I do not want to be on the next plan or I do not want to pay the phone in full. Thanks guys for any solutions or ideas!

Pay more, go on Next, buy unlocked, or wait til July seems like a reasonably wide variety of choices. Not sure what makes AT$T suck based on your post, other than you not getting what you want. By that token, Powerball also sucks.

Why does att suck? You can either get a phone every two years in the subsidized price or you can go to the next plan or you can lease from Apple.

Powerball tickets are $2 now :(

As already stated, you've listed your options yourself. You signed and agreed to the 2 year contract, now you have to abide by it or pay the ETF to get out.

Sorry, but I don't think there's another way around this. Unless you want to switch to T-Mobile or something and have them buy you out of the contract. You want to upgrade your phone WITHOUT: waiting for your upgrade date, paying full price, switching to NEXT, or raising the other line's cost. That's a lot you're asking for.

Get on the Apple upgrade program? You've taken all your other options away.

Sell your iPhone for $450-550 on craigslist then buy the phone outright.

Or buy the 6S first, make sure the 6+ is unlocked and then sell it. A 6+ 128gb unlocked (if it's in excellent condition) should sell for higher than $550, shouldn't it?

So you don't want to pay anything? Me neither. If you've had the iPhone since it was introduced, you should know better. It sounds like you should sign up for one of the many yearly iPhone upgrade programs available.
