AT&T to Receive Demos on Tuesday

AT&T is apparently receiving their store demo devices on Tuesday.

Anyone in really good with a rep who will let them "borrow" it?
 
wait, so there is a launch date for the iPhone 3G? SWEEEET no more not being able to sleep at night, rest assured i can buy this iPhone on June 29th.
 
I know from a friend of a friend that used to work at AT&T before he got canned for stealing from the register that they are going to be giving away free iPhone 3G's for anyone who gets there on Tuesday to see the demo that's going up.

yeah. when I worked for at&t (7 months ago) they sent out a memo saying the same thing.

it's true guys.
 
Keep in mind folks... the OP is the first one to break the news about AT&T store opening at 8AM. No one believed him then even after I was able to confirm his story... guess what time the store opens ? 8AM

I have a hard time believing they would get demos early...but if the OP was right before about AT&T then it's quite possible it'll happen.
 
He said receiving, not displaying. I would think they would be delivered early to ensure they are there for the launch day. This doesn't seem like big news to me I would expect them to be at the stores around that time, but I don't expect to get to see one until the 11th.
 
Sorry, I posted and fell asleep. Thank you for those who remember my 8AM post. AT&T has an internal communications website called iZone... I have read it and I will hopefully have the screen shots posted later this morning/early afternoon (when the store opens at 11AM) with the "in writing" proof.

They are going to be receiving their demos to be put out at 7:30 the 11th.

PS... When I am just going to be able to say something and have you all believe me? LoL!

Ahh okay, so s8film40 was right. They're just receiving them, not displaying them, which is kinda sorta what you said lol. You never said they were putting them up on display. Reading is fundamental, people!!
