You have to post pics on Tuesday then.........and find out if the white iPhone comes in a white box. Thanks, lol.

Like i said i'll roll over to att on tuesday for ***** and giggles just to see if the OP was accurate.

Why would you head to an AT&T store on Tuesday? The OP, the memo he provided which was verified to exist by another AT&T employee who was skeptical himself, states that the iPhones are to be stored on site until the 11th. They won't be viewable if you went in...

Also, PhightinPhils26. I doubt that you'll be able to do anything with the iPhone even if your friend can get it to you on Tuesday - it will be bricked.

im sorry I don't believe you and i and many wont until we have proof like pictures

Even after he was right about the store opening time on launch date, told us when AT&T stores were getting the iPhone demos and then posted a screenshot to prove it...

why would it be bricked. how are the at&t employees supposed to use it then..?

Well let's see...

According to the memo that the OP posted:

7/10 Tether 3G iPhone devices to iTunes to complete their activation.

and knowing how secretive Apple is, I don't think they'll release the necessary activation software until the last minute.

Therefore, I'm saying on Tuesday the iPhone will be bricked. And since the memo says to put the devices on display AFTER CLOSING HOURS [emphasis AT&T's] they probably won't be able to unbrick it until Thursday evening.

Apple doesn't want a bunch of AT&T employees writing the early iPhone reviews.

this is true...

i mean hey ill try and tether that beast and post some pics, but as soon as i plug it in men it white suits will likely arrest me w/ white handcuffs and put white duct tape over my mouth and convince my mom i never existed.

sigh.

Actually, I also read in an official release (which, of course, I can't find) that said iTunes has already been installed on the employee computers for activation purposes.
