Hi!

So our family upgraded to the iPhone 5s and we have sold two of our old AT&T iPhone 4s' without any trouble. I wanted to unlock the last one through AT&T but when I give them the IMEI number, they say that they cannot find it in their system.

A few things:
- We did complete our two year contract
- We are the original owners of the phones
- We bought them at the Apple store

I have tried to find a solution to the problem but have only found that other people with the similar problem are told by AT&T to go to Apple and once they do, are then told by Apple to go to AT&T because it IS an AT&T locked phone 🙁

Has anyone been able to remedy a similar situation?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Have you ever had the phone replaced by Apple? (Sometimes their System doesn't update IMEI numbers correctly)

IMO, it's not even worth the time/energy dealing with AT&T, TRUST ME.

You're better off going to SwiftUnlocks.com, and paying $1.99 for the Factory Unlock service.

You also might want to go to http://iphoneimei.info/ and make sure under "Country Purchased", it says United States, before you contact SwiftUnlocks.com for unlocking service.
