I was excited for a second. I thought how great that I'll get HBO and Spotify for free. Then I see there are seven options, and you can only have one. I'll stick with HBO and continue paying for Apple Music.

I will say I had no idea that before today you could get something other than HBO free.
Are you sure it’s only one? I think we can choose 2 perks (i.e. Spotify + HBO)

EDIT: actually you are right! We can choose only ONE premium entertainment option! thanks for nothing I guess AT&T!!!!

a lot of these "free" features aren't really free, especially when the required monthly plan is like $80+ for a single line.

With Verizon and AT&T now have different "flavors" unlimited plans, I really wish I could get 4 lines and pick-and-chose which of the 4 flavors I want for each line. I mean, I need hotspot, but the 3 others users on my account never use it. Why should I have to pay for hotspot if people don't need it? Hopefully that will be the next big thing carriers can do.

with Verizon you can already pick different unlimited plans for each of your lines.

Net Neutrality!!

...that, when it existed, never prohibited this type of activity as it specifically allowed for this to create product offerings to differ from other identical base-level product offerings.

T-Mobile has a roll out map for my area. Allegedly (allegedly...) they're going to have a huge build out in my area by the end of the year.

Is this something shareable on the web? I'm wondering if it's a URL perhaps we could glean some other localities URLs from. Unless it's like cityofsomewhere.gov, then of course that would be specific to only you. :)

I had a video that T-Force had linked to my in my Twitter DMs that is now suspiciously missing. I'm looking to see if I can find it online elsewhere.

Edit: There's this at least:

This is great!! I love Spotify. Now I get to cut my Spotify bill and also get Hulu for free too. I tried Apple Music and thought it was awful. Does anyone know how to active this?

Not exactly free with the qualified unlimited plan at $80. Wouldn't most customers rather have ATT reduce the price by the Spotify addon? This 'value' bundling thing has to end.

This bundling is what these juggernaut providers have to offer. We have plenty of choices in the US now. Anyone can leave their plan with Verizon/AT&T/T-mo and go to a much cheaper MVNO. But I'm plenty happy with AT&T, even without these entertainment perks, I'm paying ~$142 a month for three unlimited lines with great coverage and tethering. This is with a military discount though.
