Just a note for anyone that has not received shipping updates on ATT ordered phones and initially got a delivery estimate for launch day.
ATT has had an issue in the past where their system did not update and show shipping until AFTER some phones were delivered. If you were designated to get it today but don't see shipping movement, there is a little hope it will be to you on time. I wouldn't cancel an order and go looking blindly for a phone in store.
Search some past threads for ATT launch day phones and see if there is some info that could help you out.

For those about to get their new iPhone 14’s, I expect a full and complete write-up on it, including photos, battery life and quirks and features, as I won’t be back to get mine (which is out for delivery now) until I return from a work trip on Sunday.
UPS Follow My Delivery is live for my phone. Time to watch the UPS truck pass my house several times before delivery. It says estimated delivery between 9:45-12:45, but that’s never right. It’s always later.
If you’re not on an open Wi-Fi network you should be ok.Will we experience this today???

Anyone’s tracking latest update for FedEx show leaving Memphis yesterday at 2 PM? Was hoping it would have landed by now ha!
Four items ordered. We have tracking for two of them… one through FedEx and one through UPS. The other two items on att.com show ‘Were just about to ship’ and ‘On hold’. However, both items through *6737# are listed as ‘Backordered’…

I'm in the same boat as you. My tracking says Label Created at 7:20am 9/15 shipper INGRAMMICRO with an estimated delivery date of 9/16 by 8pm but no further updates. Has been stuck on that status for over 24 hrs.
Ughhh I hate that I can't follow my delivery truck on Fedex. I'll have it 'before 8pm'.
AT&T sucks. Earlier, I thought a USPS package might be my phone, but it’s not. AT&T says it will ship Sep 23-30, and I hit the cancel button on the order yesterday so I could try to pick one up from an Apple Store today. AT&T did not cancel the order, and overnight it changed from “On hold” to “We're just about ready to ship”, and the cancel button is now gone, even though it definitely still hasn’t shipped (I have accounts with FedEx, UPS, and USPS and can see as soon as labels are created). Had the cancel button actually worked yesterday, I could have had a phone in my hands right now from Apple or Best Buy, but no.
I’m pretty sure the system is designed to prevent you from switching your order to someone else. If they were a customer friendly company, they would allow you to cancel instantly and get your upgrade eligibility back immediately at any point in the process, even if the phone has shipped (just charge them the full amount if they don’t return an order that was shipped and cancelled). Them cutting off pre-order cancellations before phones have even shipped is just downright customer hostile.

So I have had tracking info since Monday and my ip14pro max has been sitting with fedex and status says At FedEx destination facility for 3 days and hasn't changed. Says it will get delivered today but another package being delivered today and it says on fedex vehicle for delivery. So I dont' have high hopes my iPhone will be here today.
That happened to me last year with my 13 pro max and I didn’t get it until after the weekend on Monday.. ‘‘twas lame.
Yah that is what i am worried about I am out of town next week so just annoying its been sitting for 3 days and they can't load it on a truck
Yeah, I’m pretty sure FedEx gets very overwhelmed, and they could be shorthanded, who knows. Mine is currently in the destination sort facility in Houston Texas, which is an hour away from me and it hasn’t shown any progress since 5 o’clock yesterday. but it shows that it’s on time.
they will never allow this option. I was consulting for them for years and this was a topic we would fight about on the daily. They are way to risk adverse.. so stupid.
