AT&T users. I had to call to activate cellular

All went good except it required that I called AT&T to activate my phone service.

How long did you wait before you called? Mine said it would activate over wifi but now it's just sitting there.

Mine is saying it does not have a SIM... Anyone else had that issue?

It took me over an hour to get mine activated when I bought it from ATT, I had to call up ATT and they said my phone said restricted for somereason.

Did you have to pay the "activation" fee in the process?
Just curious because I was promised by ATT CS that the fee would be waived because I was out of contract and threatened to go to Verizon.
